50/50 is a joke

by Dave
(Ellington)

Me and my son's mother have not been together since shortly after his birth. I was sent to Iraq hours before he was born. I came home and was awarded monitored visitation because I am in the military. That was crap. I fought for joint custody and won. I was told that we made about the same amount of money even though I knew my son's mother was working 2 p/t jobs and making more than me. She later married a man that attempted to take her life. I was let go from my job but continued with the military. I was awarded full soul custody for 3 months of my son in which she later gained back control and is now coming after me for support of the months I had my son and paid all daycare plus expenses. She has done nothing but drag me to court every 3 - 4 weeks and ruined my life and confused my son. I think if you have 50/50 joint custody child support should be null and void. Let's get real. Because I am a dad I should pay where is my equal rights?
