First I simpathize with you and your husband. I know first hand how men are being screwed over in this country. Secondly yes woman are being screwed over. But know one wants to see the men getting it. They only see the woman . That needs to change. My advice because I have be though it. I would take everything your own out of your and your husband name if you are in a community state. Second cancel any saving or checking accounts. Third if you have a 401k take it out on a hardship withdrawel yes you will pay a littel highre taxes but other wise you could and probably will lose all of it to her.I dont know about your state but in Texas they can take everything but your house.
