A fed up dad

I have a daughter whom is 12 years old. She lives with her mother whom I separated from when my daughter was 4 years old. Her mother cheated on me and is now married to my ex best friend. Her husband has been in jail and is still in jail. I have been supporting my daughter every little bit possible. I send her clothes, shoes, and money for anything else she might need. Her mother has also refused to work and has almost had her lights turned off. Myself and my wife had them turned back on for her. I am also paying for two other kids through wage garnishment. This woman has been a horrible excuse for a mother. She is a pill popper and she loves to lie to my daughter about me so that she may turn my daughter against me. I have been denied chances to see my daughter as well. I feel like no matter how hard I try I am punished for being the best father I know how to be. She is now deciding she wants to pursue me for child support after all this time because she refuses to work and wants me to support HER! She does not want my money for my daughter and my daughter never even sees the money I send now. I am wanting to know my chances of fighting someone like this. We live in separate states so I am not sure if the laws will pertain to her residence or mine. Please help if you can.

Sincerely

A fed up dad

by: Anonymous

I'm not a lawyer but if iwas you I would get one she'd have to get up off her ass then cause she is not gonna win if her circumstances are like you say you and your wife fight and take your daughter I'm pretty sure she want to be with you anyway.
