All Dads are Deadbeats

by Jeff
(Dallas, Texas)

It's true guys, we're ALL deadbeat dads because the system, no matter what state or child support agreement you honor, will make you so. My example is I have been divorced just over 5 years and I voluntarily set my child support up as a garnishment because I honestly did not want to be reminded every month that I was paying support to someone for children I was denied visitation with. My pay checks have been garnished without fail for over five years and when trying to buy a car recently and being turned down over and over and finally told by my companies credit union of 5 years they would not do business with someone who would not even honor they're debt for child support. I was floored and joined an identity theft organization and pulled my credit only to find the MS Dept. of Child Support had reported me in excess of 2000.00 delinquents. Conversations with this moronic entity reveals it doesn't matter if the court or a Dad sets up a garnishment the Father is still responsible for payment and therefore penalties...they just confiscated my 600.00 tax stimulus check. I continue, two months now, to spend countless hours, faxes, emails, phone calls to correct my name, credit and protect myself from pending punishments like drivers license suspension, further garnishments, and possible incarceration all due to the system and the fact my ex failed to notify anyone she remarried and moved to another state for the sole purpose of letting the "system" wrongfully determine me delinquent. Suck it up Dads.... you ARE a Deadbeat no matter what you do.
