Child Support and Probation

by Kay
(Houston, TX)

I have a friend and he is telling me he is on probation for non payment of child support. He has served his time and he has a probation officer but now he had to pay $400.00 on court cost because the attorney in the matter was supposed to go in half with him on the court cost, I'm a little confused. Please help

Why would the attorney go in half
by: Brett L

Why would his attorney split the court costs? The attorney is working for the probationer, not sharing in his financial responsibilities!
