Child Support and the Federal Government

The Federal Government is planning to crack down on dead beat parents who do not want to pay their child support. In one news segment it talks about how the federal government is going to step in and enforce child support laws. Maybe this will work maybe it will not, but it also goes saying that over $1 billion is owed in unpaid child support. So I am happy that something is being done about it. Many parents do not want to take on the obligation, so they will not pay, leaving the child or children to suffer. I think its about time the government stepped in to do something about it. Dead beats must pay child support in order for child/children to live a better life. According to the news post, Joe Ludwig who is the Federal Minister for Human Services says that he is searching for a range of options to crack down on dead beat parents whom are unwillingly taking on their responsibilities. Once again, I am glad that something is going to be done about those dead beat parents. It is bad enough that the child experiences life without both biological parents, they should not be subjected to neglect or denied child support from the non-custodial parent. |
