"Do some reseach into the Texas Family Law and you will see that the custodial parent isn't obligated to pay shit for support, nor do they risk going to jail. "
That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

the custodial parent side by: Anonymous
I am the custodial parent of 3 children, 2 teenage boys and a 6 year old daughter. I work my butt off trying to make ends meet because of an ex- husband who would rather make more children than pay his currant child support. He has payed "what he wanted or felt that he could" for the past 7 years even though there is a court order, now he is paying nothing.I don't ask for extra anything, all I want is what is ordered. I would never bother him for anything if he would just do the right thing. I can't give my kids what they want or even need because of this, am I supposed to excuse his actions because he has chosen to have other children? I DONT THINK SO! I didn't ask him to cheat on me and leave me pregnant, but that is the situation that I was dealt with and have lived with it. Why should my children have to pay for his unfaithfulness and stupidity?

Yes, when the AG gets involved they take complete ownership. It's as if the non-custodial parent owes them money. The system is corrupt and does more damage to families than good. Think about it parents, when you are so desperate for money and the non-custodial parent has no way to pay, then you ruin their lives forever. Is that what you want for your kids? Does it make you feel any better that he/she may go to jail, or can't hold a job? Stop being so damn vindictive because you seem to think there is a score to settle. Regardless if you get child support or not, take some responsibility and learn to manage without. In any case, the gravy train will run out and you will have to DEPEND ON YOURSELF! All I can say to people these days is STOP HAVING FKG KIDS and expecting someone to take responsibility for your actions. That's the whole issue; custodial parents (usually women) want the father's to pay for everything. Don't get me wrong, some women have to; but if there were a choice, they would take dad to the cleaners in order to put more money in their own pockets. Do some reseach into the Texas Family Law and you will see that the custodial parent isn't obligated to pay shit for support, nor do they risk going to jail.
