Child Support Joke!

I have a court ordered child support assignment against the father of my two children. He was ordered to pay less than 300.00 a month for two children, and is currently 96,000.00 in arrears, how ironic is that. I have been trying to collect child support for almost eighteen years, the father of my children has resided in the same place for over ten years. He has consistantly held employment through out the years and drives the latest model cars and yet he is 96,000.00 in arrears. I have and continue to report address and employment information as I obtain it to the child support office, and as of today.I haven't gotten any where. About ten years ago a judge ordered a purge payment of 500.00, and ordered him to remain current for two years or he would be in contempt of court and serve jail time, of course that didn't happen. Contacting child support is a real waste of time , after being on hold for 45 minutes the best response from the represenitive is what steps the case worker will take next, Lucky him the ghost case worker that I've never been able to talk too, has obviously never followed through with any of these steps. It angers me too see people going to jail for owing less than 5000.00 and hear he is vacationing and driving new cars heading twords 100,000.00 in arrears, so what is the purpose in cases like mine?

DHR is a joke!!!

Well I do think its a shame when a Mother or Father who has custody of the child cannot get a FAIR amount of child support. However there are those who get x amount of dollars and the parent paying it gets the shaft! The problem is the system. My Child I pay child support on just tured 18. I have not seen my child since 2004 when the mother decided not to show up for visitations. Now DHR did not do anything, there was no Judge or court so what does that say. The system is too full of good ol' boy politics that if you know someone then you can get away with murder. Also I remarried and have another child and DHR had the nerve as well as the grandmother from the other child said, "That child does not matter!" DHR says a child does not matter how wrong is that! TOTALLY WRONG!!! So anyone haveing too deal with DHR good luck because the system is just like all our Government and Judical system in our country its just bull!!!

What it sounds like to me is, if you are a person who maintains employment, you WILL pay child support, if you never keep a job then you DONOT pay child support. When my childs MOTHER had custody, i maintained employment and paid child support, as of 12/7/07, i have had custody, she DOES NOT keep a job, moved out of state, in the rear for more than $20,000 and does'nt pay a dime, mind you, this case is in the State of Texas. So for all of the MOMS out there, there are also DEAD BEAT "MOTHERS"' out there too, it's just noZebrat being exposed as much...

Very cool that a guy finally gets away with it. I mean, I bet 98% of the women that enjoy a site like this, do not even work to help support their own child. Sometimes even welfare queens get what they deserve, and that is nothing. My niece, 27 years old, has two kids, does not receive any child support, takes responsibility because they are here because of her actions too.

I absolutely HATE whining women who lay around all day, pop out 3-10 kids by 3-10 different fathers, then use the excuse that because they have kids at home, they can't work and need all this assistance. Well, they do make contraceptives. Welfare queens, child support and whorish women. A drain on society, men and poor examples for their children to follow.

First write DESC about your problems with collection support and tell them what you would like them to do for you and ask why they have not done this and that(like suspending his lics.&etc.). Then once you receive a letter back from them write to the AG's office or send a cc. They also have a program called FLAP family lawyer assistance program it is downtown on Jefferson at the court house. They are a "free" or $35 at the most to talk with a real lawyer and find out what u should do. You can get child support or at least some of it a month, but you just can't stop at one call put it in writting and make sure you keep a copy for yourself(always).
