I have a father, whom is behind a large amount of money. I don't care about the money, but I still expect him to check in on his four kids. He hardly talks to us, and only calls when he's drunk. He moves job to job, just so he doesn't pay child support. He hasn't paid it steadily for awhile. My mom left Texas in '04, and he was in prison. Im 17, and I want some suggestions on what I should do. If you have any suggestions, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The worst kind of deadbeat is the military deadbeat. why? because these individuals use the military to get away from the responsibility of taking care of their kids. They will try and hide in the system and because military members move every 3-5 years, it can be hard for those not in military to find them. Its a shame that the people call themselves Leaders and spend more time with soldiers than their kids. Eventually they will have to retire and then who will be there...the military? I think not because as soon as you retire the military already has someone doing the job you were doing. I met a leader that hid his child from the military so his child didn't get any benefits. Yet this leader walked around like he was doing everything right and telling his soldiers how to do the right thing all along he treats his old child like crap. Society may see him as a HERO but I"m sure that child sees him as a ZERO.
