Child Support What A Fluke!!!!

by Rebecca
(Abilene, Texas)

My son is 14 yrs old. For the last 10 yrs it has been hell on wheels for him. My ex turned to drugs, alcohol and sex abuse of minors. He is over $15,000.00 behind on c/s and not a care in the world. Nothing is in his name, so they can't go after him for leins or forfeitures. He has been in and out of the court system for numberous charges ranging from drugs, check fraud, sexual contact with minors, etc. He has evaided the Att Gen office for a year now. I have court ordered visitation, but if I allow my son to go with his " father/sperm donor " then I am putting his welfare at stake. I feel that the Att Gen office should step in and take further action on these types of parents. I have written to the Texas Legislature and the Attorney General's office with suggestions such as;

1) substance abuse programs
2) alcohol abuse programs
3) rehab centers
etc!!

After all...They have already signed on with a probation program that my ex is on with the Att Gen office and still nothing is being done with that. I even had to fight with the office because they tried telling me he was no longer on probation with them. Therefore, that tells me that the updated information is not being put in the computer system!

I feel that after all that my son has been thru that, to say the least, they should take his visitation rights away, put him on supervised visitation or take his parental rights, period!!
It's supposed to be for the best interest of the child/children, but I have not seen anything done yet for the interest of my son!

Signed-
Becky

FIGHT FOR YOUR SON
by: MELISSA

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN. I'M HAVING TO TAKE MY EX BACK TO COURT AND THE ONLY THING GOOD COMING OUT OF IT IS THAT IT IS COSTING ME MONEY AND TIME. FIGHT FOR YOUR SON HE WILL REMEMBER THIS WHEN HE GETS OLDER. MY SON IS NINE AND HE LIVES WITH ME. SO FIGHT AND KEEP UP WITH THAT EX THE MORE PROOF YOU HAVE THE BETTER OFF YOU ARE.
