I am going through the same thing. And it makes me sick even thinking about it. I pay child support and my X wife thinks that she is the only parent to my daughter. She has denyed me so MANY visitations and I have wasted so much money traveling two states with my current wife and our other children to see her. And only to get a big FAT NO! When it is court ordered and SHE made me come all the way down there and would NOT let her fly or her grandmother bring her up. My attorney says I have a hell of a custody case and wants another 3,000.00 to represent me. I have already spend 10,000.00 on this custody case already and has put my current family in financial hardship and our other children are having to do without bc of all the money. If I walk away, I get into trouble, if I fight. I KNOW they will slap her on the hand and say "don't do that again"! As they have did in the past and my wife and children look at me and wonder why they are having to put there lives on hold for a fight that I can not win. WHERE IS THE FATHERS HELP????? WHO IS LOOKING OUT FOR US? THEY ARE OUR KIDS TOO AND JUST BC WE HAVE A PENIS DOES NOT MAKE US BAD PARENTS AND NOT CAPABLE OF CARING FOR OUR OWN CHILD (REN) URRRRRRR!

Jeff, the sad story is that this problem seems to be growing. I want you to know you are not alone and that I have started a cause on face book Equal Rights for Non custodial parents, and I'm inviting you to join so that we can be heard so that the laws are changed. I also want to say have Faith this will get better if we all work together.
