Contract employees

Oh yeah, Texas SAYS they go after non custodial parents that don't pay, they SAY they garnish wages, but if the non custodial parent works contract, YOU'RE SCREWED!!!!! The Employer can ignore the withholding "order", which isn't worth the paper it's printed on, and not send in a single penny and face absolutely NO CONSIQUENCES. That's just one of the many things that needs to change with the laws here. Employers hiring contract employees should be required to withhold child support just like regular employers. My ex is over $20K behind on a THREE year old! I can't afford a one bedroom apartment for us, but he can drive across the country for vacation, buy 63" flat screen tv's, buy Tag watches, Mont Blanc sunglasses, diamond rings but I can't afford to get caps on my daughter's teeth (thanks to genetics). And God forbid she has an asthma attack and ends up in the er, that's just one more bill I won't be able to pay. So, while I live with my parents, unable to afford a place of our own, he's out galavanting across the country screwing anything with a pulse and abandoning babies left and right. Oh, did I not mention? He has SIX kids with FIVE different women. So how about forced sterilization for those who continue to reproduce and refuse to support the children they help bring into this world.
