I have a the same situation now. I filed my paperwork 8 months ago and nothing was done for the first 6 months. I had to hound someone higher up just to the case going...2 months later the only thing that has been accomplished is that they finally sent the paperwork to Colorado but that is as far as I have gotten.

I have a situation where my child's father had not paid for well over a year. I had been contacting my worker at least once a month. She told me that I would have to take him to court on my own due to him getting foodstamps. This was a "loop" hole to where they could not take him to court. So when I went to court my "donor" lied to the judge and said that he would be starting work that Friday. I later found out that this was a lie. The judge ended up dropping the case and said that he doesn't feel that the father is doing this intentionally. Which is not the case. So just a heads up good luck on money out of a turnip.
