I agree, dead beat moms should be held just as accountable, as dads. The courts are unfair, in the manner, that moms usually make less pay than male gender, get more sympathy, especially when mom pours on the tearful & fragile act!
I witnessed first hand, my husband paid 12 years of child support, all medical bills, orthodontic care while Mom had custody, all while she was collecting child support $400p/w, plus her income $40k, plus her partners income $100k, plus $$$ my husband still gave abundance of additional money for school clothes & activies. (Mind you, never late paying CS!)
Now that Mom willing signed transfer of custody to Dad,she hasn't paid a dime, towards to wellfare of 2 teens for 1 whole year, now we have to go court & she's opposing child support motion with her attorney....how disgusting Mom won't do what's right by her kids and quit being a mom!
She doesn't even come visit or call them!
We'll see this DEAD BEAT MOM in court! Hopefully there will be justice served for kids sake!

Terrorism Against Americans--Child support comes from Soviet Family law by: Bruce Eden, Civil Rights Director, Dads Against Discrimination
Terrorism against Americans--Child Support (and alimony) comes from Soviet Family Law. It is known as child support and its enforcement. For our own legislators and judges to embrace such laws violates their own constitutional and fidelity oaths that they took as public officials. Passage and enforcement of such foreign laws constitutes treason and sedition.
American child support laws, emanating from the "Wisconsin Model" is based on the Soviet model, Article 81 of the The Russian Family Code, adopted in 1995 (Soviet Family Law, 1944, 1969). This model invokes the income shares approach--how much each parent makes determines how much child support is paid, rather than the true cost of raising children. As the Communist Manifesto says: "Each according to ability; each according to his needs".
The "percentage of income" formula comes directly from the Russian lawbooks. The Russians used 25% for one child, 30% for two, and 35% for 3 or more. Sound familiar? The transfer of "wealth" was/is the most important fundamental ideal of the oppressive regime's entire economic system.
American fathers (as Russian fathers did) pay the amount prescribed by the formula. There's no excuse for non-payment. There are no deviations, exceptions, or consideration of individual circumstances (involuntary unemployment, disability, illness, etc). Most payments in the Russian/American system are processed by a central bureaucracy. The bureaucracy doesn't care about "special circumstances". There was no "individual" in Soviet society--only compliance.
Those who try to avoid compliance in both systems get jail (debtor's prison, prohibited by US and NJ Constitutions), credit problems (constitutes defamation as well as violating federal debt anti-discrimination laws), exclusion from work, loss of rights, and loss of government benefits. Sound strikingly familiar? Government created child support hysteria causes many to be jailed, causing loss of employment due to no fault of their own, thus, leaving people unable to fend for themselves. Russian Communists condemned and ostracized fathers and called them "deadbeats" when they were unable to pay. The anti-American child support enforcement tyranny uses identical tactics in this country.
The biggest, most important U.S. social policy changes of the last 15-20 years are based on the Soviet-Communist model. Government oppression is at its highest pinnacle since the British ruled this country over 225 years ago because the bureaucracy wants to remain employed by violating and depriving the people of their fundamentally secured rights? It has become big government-big business. Just like in the Soviet Union.

Kill the Government by: Kirk Kemp
Our great government in the "Land of the Free" is a joke. The fathers have been marginalized and turned into weaklings thanks to the abusive power of our government at all levels. When will the fathers of this country finally rise up and take this country back? Outrageous child support is the game for all of the politicians and cooked judges. Believe it or not some of us fathers love our kids and resent being criminalized as "dead beat dads!"

Child support enforcement a fraud by: DADZRITES
Child support is not about the children. It's about how much federal funding the state can get for amounts of support (and alimony) ordered, collected & enforced. It's called the "Federal reimbursement incentive funding to the states" at Title 42 U.S.C. Sections 658(a) & (f). The Feds send the state funding on how much support is awarded & collected each year; with no strings attached. The funding is put into the state treasury. The first items paid out of the treasury are state employee (e.g., child support & probation workers) salaries & pensions, and judges' salaries & Pensions. The US Supreme Court holds that this is unconstitutional. Judges & other officials can't sit in judgment of cases where they have a financial interest in the outcome of those cases (see, Tumey v. Ohio, Ward v. Monroeville, etc.), because they are too tempted to abuse their contempt powers to extort more monies. The High Court said that any orders emanating in these cases are null & void.
Further, child support is a CIVIL matter. Probable cause that a CRIME is required if someone is behind in support. Since no probable cause exists in CIVIL matters, no one can be arrested. That's why there aren't any arrests for delinquent mortgages, car loans, etc. The Federal Courts have said child support is a common, commercial, CIVIL debt, like any other debt. These courts say it is not a "special debt".
Child support enforcement is a total scam being used to pad one's salaries & income off the backs of the great unwashed. Time to eliminate the entire enforcement industry & send checks directly to the children like Social Security checks. it would save the $10 Billion annually to run the enforcement industry.

dead beats by: Anonymous
Father... Mother... doesn't matter... Doing the right thing knows no gender, being a supportive parent is important regardless of being a mother or father. It should always be for the child and no mother or father should ever take that responsibility lightly.

Make state pay for deadbeat mom's indiscretions by: Anonymous
What frustrated dad needs to do with deadbeat mom is to bring his problem to his elected Federal representatives and ask them to have the Feds stop funding the state for child support enforcement reimbursement incentive funding (Title 42 USC Sections 658 a, f) until the state starts complying with the Federal mandates to enforce his child support. A letter from his US representative (or senator) to the head of the state child support enforcement agency should get the ball rolling quickly, and have mom in court or arrested within a couple of weeks.
