Deadbeat Army Mother

I have had my daughter for six months now while my wife...wrong...EX Wife has been off playing Army. She has cheated on me numerous times since joining the Army. Now that we are getting a divorce, she would rather spend her money on taking her various boyfriends to hotels and keeping them drunk than to send her daughter a dime. There seems to be nothing I can do, no one will even talk to me about child support.

Just because I am a father, and ONLY a civilian, my daughter is being punished. I thought the military was founded to protect the civilians, not punish them. This system is broken, and I am ashamed of this country. Not only for what I've gone through, but because of what other fathers are going through as well. There needs to be a change, or a Revolution.

You can collect
by: Anonymous

Do not be disappointed in the country to collect child support from a Soldier there are several routes you may go You may first contact her first Sgt. and commander and let them know that you are not receiving he benefits that she collects for her dependants (which they can give her a direct order to set up an allotment to you) and you will also have to file with your local child support agency or with a lawyer. If you choose to do the lawyer thing then you can request that she be responsible for your lawyer and court fees if you win the case. Good Luck
