Can someone please explain to me how it costs more to raise a child from a wealthy or middle class family than a less fortueate family? Income shares model? Sounds like discrimination to me.... OOORRRR...... a crafty way to mask ALIMONY!! Now that sounds more like it.... there should be a basic support model by all means but there is NO FRIKKIN WAY it costs more than $100.00 per week per child, thats a high ball number too. Child support should be salary based but with a maximum per child based on income. Why is it that (lets say) a poor family father makes $400.00/wk take home and pays $100.00/wk support for 1 child and a wealthy father makes $1500.00/wk and pays $200.00/wk for 1 child.... How is that fair? Thats telling me that the poor mans kid isnt worth as much??? Think about it. Furthermore, there should be a maximum allowable by law regardless of income, assets, etc. The family court is like a 3 ring circus!! I do feel as though that paying parents that are not seeing their children due to selfish reasons or misconduct reasons should automaticlly pay the max allowed by law per child as punishment for being an idiot. The standard child support should be for example: 1 child $100.00/wk max plus 50% reasonable expenses, 2 children $175.00/wk max, 3children $250.00/wk max,... so on and so forth. BTW, the state I am refering to is CONNECTICUT... A coalition needs to be formed to reform the child support system in CT and ALL states!

If America really knew what is going on....people would revolt. America doesn't really understand the scope of this massive injustice being done to men day after day... year after year. I too have been through this crap.... 20 years to the brink of madness....but I made it through. Just know the revolt is coming if we all band together and let the world know which politicians are turning a blind eye and endorsing the judges, corrupt child support agencies and groups like the National Organization of Women. These groups are all committed to the demise of good, hard-working, everyday men who just want to live a normal life. But instead, have been suckered into child support by sluts without a conscience. Remember - letting the public know who these politicians are who do nothing, even though they know this injustice is going on daily...that's how to blow the lid off this thing. Best of luck to all guys and their spouses trying to navigate this god-awful crime.

I have a friend and he is going through the same thing of being accused of being the father. The judge refuse to give him a DNA test. The mother wont't let the son see him anymore because she is afraid that he will do the test himself. I think there should be a class action suit but you are going to have sue the state and federal court public aid department and the collection agency to stop from paying interest which by the way is at 9% in some states.
Someone please open up a web page so every one could join and get this started because this is not regulated. No state have a clear ruling and most judges do not know what they are doing. This is so one sided but maybe I will start the web page and find a good group of lawyers to assist in getting the matter resolved.

I went to school with you Shad. I'm sad to hear this story. I went through a divorce and custody battle in Lancaster that lasted over one year and cost me around $8K (which is short and cheap compared to many cases), but I did manage to come out with two things that I never thought would be possible. One is that I was granted custody of my child (I'm the father). The second thing was I got a decree from the judge that stated neither I nor my former spouse would have to ever pay child support to one another. I was happy with this, and willing to take care of my son without any help from the mother.
From this I learned that an attorney can draft what's called a "deviation order" in regards to child support, and the judge is able to make a ruling based on that, which is binding on both parents.
Unfortunately I'm now going through a second divorce, but this time the woman is a non-resident foreign national, and I've hired a Franklin County attorney for $500 to draw up the paperwork for an uncontested divorce with shared custody, and of course a child support deviation order relieving both both of us from any obligations in that matter. Even if the deviation order is not granted by the judge, she lives in a different country and has no power to affect me here.
One thing I can say with confidence is that I will probably never get married or have children with any woman who possesses US citizenship or even a green card for permanent residence here, nor will I ever sponsor any woman to live in this country. That is apparently the only "safe" way to do it as far as I can see.

Another paternity fraud victim here. Ready for the class action suit. Have DNA test proving I am not the father. Found out when child was ten years old. Ex wife needs to be held accountable. Iam still paying.

I'm a former Private Investigator and the wife of a paternity fraud victim...
For all of you dealing with fraud, know this if nothing else... The support agencies will NOT help you. They get money for collecting money and it's big business. For anyone just getting started on their defense, do the following:
First, get a mail-ordered DNA test (cheap around $65 for non-admissable to court type if you just want personal confirmation or heafty around $275 if you want the kind that you can use in court) then make nice with mom long enough to get a visit with the child. Swab the cheek and wait for your written evidence.
Second, RECORD any comments about the child not being yours. Get her mad over the phone, put the phone on speaker (if you don't have a built in digital) and use a recorder. It's not illegal to record your own conversatons within your own house and the tape is admissable in court.
Third, hire an investigator before hiring an attorney. Find out who else knew what she did and have their full name and current contact info available for summons when you're ready to take the mom to court for fraud. Try to find the most religous based person close to the mom as they have the tendency not to lie on the stand. You gather as much info as possible before hiring the attorney because attorneys will hire investigators to obtain background on cases and charge you double the fee.
We've been there - Good Luck - and please read my posting TWINS. I'm experimenting in volumn posts concerning paternity fraud as gathering massive victims could lead to a CLASS ACTION suit that could get the laws changed in this country. Leave some contact info if you're interested.
And for this poor soul who tried on his own once before to be heard, perhaps a national CLASS ACTION would be your next best bet. If you can copy this post to other blogs where you know this type fraud has happened, maybe we can all get together and do something about it. There's strenght in numbers and by my research, there are tens of thousands of fraud victims out there. Thnx

She worked with me at Bank one in 2002. I am really sorry that this happended to you, I saw all kinds of pics of u two and your son and daughter. I also knew the guy she cheated on you with. I thought it was only once but who knows, after she quit there, I never really heard from her again. Agian sorry this happend to you. I have been with my boyfriend for 13 yrs. We have been engaged for 10 yrs. We refuse to get married because then my income will be garnished. We have 8 yes eight children together and she hates that.I go to every one of his court hearings with him,and every time he is locked up.He has lost jobs because of this situation. This child looks nothing like him and she even told him he is not the father. He requested a DNA test and the judge denied him.That was more ammo for her. She was hot that he even tried to stand up for himself. She requested more money.My thing is how can they deny a man that is paying child support a DNA test. I wrote numerous letters with no response. I will stand for the rights of these men.No one should have to be put through this because a so called women is upset that a man has gone on about his business.

I have two children with an ex girlfriend. A 4 year old son and a 2 year old daughter or so I thought. I noticed that my daughter didnt look like me at all. So I decided to have a DNA test taken at my own expense. The result was that I was NOT the father by 0% the probability of being the father. I'm currently going to court to try and stop the child support payments. I am asking the judge to order the DNA test to establish parentage. It seems like the courts are on her side because my statue of limitations ran out after her 2nd birthday. Law states you have 2 years to do something about it. So it looks like I'm going to lose my case. The mother is still claiming that I AM the father. The judge has the power of equity to override the statue of limitations and order a DNA test if he doesnt want to accept mine. I have yet to go to court for that decision but it seems like I wont be successful. Does anyone know any cases similar to mine that have actually had child support payments stopped? Help!

The same type of situation is happening to my husband. Except he was never married and the girl that is pinning the child support on him was a 4 month fling who said she only wanted the money. We think somehow the DNA test were switched because her test said 97.222 and his came out 99.999. That means she isn't the mother!!! Well it's been four years and even if he finds out he is the father he can't stop the child support in Texas. It is bull crap and i too will help fight the system because i work hard to support my four kids and my hubby. I work and protect him just so that hoe doesn't get a dime. Maybe this pres will change things....
