This is about my brother. He is 37, going on 70. This whole divorce and ex wife process has taken a toll. She was the one cheating and kicked him out. That was in 2001. He cried every night just wanting to keep family together. He was a young dad. He was 18 with his first and 23 with his second. He didn't have any money to fight anything. In the meantime the ex has had 5 live-in boyfriends. She had another child with one of them. She has never paid rent. She lives in one of her dads rentals. she is the worst mother I have ever seen. She has managed to teach her 18 year old son that it's all about a handout and it's ok to have multiple partners. Her 12 year old girl has also witnessed zero respect.

They both have watched their mother get drunk, bring drunk guys home to stay and to live and listen to her fight with these men and have sex with them. I do not understand why it is ok for her to lead such a reckless life and still have all of her child support situations represented for FREE! What is this world comoing to? It's people like er that raise irresponsible children and expect others to pay the way. My brother no longer has a relationship with his 18 year old. He is so utterly disrespectful.

We have all decided that we can't do anything when his mother sets these low standards and has absoulutely no expectations. MY nephew won't even talk to her anymore. He has moved in with her parents now. Her parents are the ones that started this 'TREND" in the first place. We tried so hard to talk with him and work with him. He seems to think we are crazy for wanting himn to learn hard work and discipline. Can't wait for the ball to drop when his sister hits puberty. Where is the justice? Maybe Child support services should concentrate more on the children for mental health than jus the all mighty Dollar!

Get a GRIP!!!

I hope the justice system is satisfied with their "Deadbeat DADS " program! Maybe we should start a program called "Lazy, Crappy, Evil Mothers".

Hi I feel very bad for every dad out there.I no how bad it can be .I pay child support to some one that gets 60.000 in the mail box every month for life that's rite 60.000 .I was marred to her for 18 years and rized her kids for 18 years with not one dime from her x then she inherited one million dallars and 60.000 a month .So you can gess what happened to the marriage when she got that kind of money she be cam a monster and told me to get the f out .now she uses her money to f me all she can and I have been living in a well far house ware very one that lives here is on well far I pay 500 a month my room is 5x8 I can't have a checking account they will take any thing I put in it my credit is shot .I can't rite any thing in detail be couse if she reads this it will cost me 10.000 to make a long story short the court gives them the power to reck you life.owe and she conpleety trend my kids against me I was a good father to both her kids and my kids but money recked every thing and so does it reck almost every family in the us it is real simple give joint custody ti both parents in less one of them does not want it and you will have way way way less devorce and way way less kids with no father .but then it's all about the money and that's all it is and all of the USA pays the price every day and they don't even no it.

Wow, that's deep. It's like the whole child support process for bad mothers is just a good hustle. My case originated in N.J. in 1998. At the time was the father of four. I had a good paying job, driving trucks, and I was the most responsible parent with regards to supporting my kids. Their mother had a substance abuse problem, and she used to disappear at will on weekends, getting high on all types of drugs, mainly alchohol and crack. Sometimes she would disappear with or without my kids. I used to be extremely nervous when she would disappear with my kids for days at a time, mainly because of the potential danger they would be subjected to, in the company of consenting, irresponsible drug addicts. To add insult to injury, two of my kids with her were baby girls. You hear all sorts of inhumane things that happen to little girls in bad company. I knew a lot of people in my neighberhood, so after a day or two, searching different known areas I would find her in some drug house.

I agree the child support system is a crock of crap. It's just another money making scam, the states profit from your child support. This unconstitutional law needs to be change but it will not happen until we all stand up and say this is unfair, unjust and unconstitutional. It is against your constitutional rights to be jailed for a personal debt "BUT THEY DO IT ANYWAY" calling it contempt of court, but whats funny is you can get in a car wreck and the person can be court order to pay for your damages and suffering but they will not and can not jail you for that perosnal debt and they will no call it contempt of court if he/she doesn't pay you, hmmm funny how that works. Because the state doesn't make $$$$$ from your wreck. We mainly men need to stand up and have some kind of "MILLION MAN CHILD SUPPORT MARCH". Well tell your brother good luck he will need it, we just can't win the way the law is writin.
