Father on hard times, but still takes care of his daughter need to know ?

by Eric brusuelas
(Texas Killeen )

Well I have a 3 year old daughter that I dont have full custody of and her mother is a full time student and works alot and stays with her grandmother. But it seem that since my ex wife is trying to finish school and work she asked me if my daughter can stay with me most of the time since she know I am going through hard time looking for a new job since i was let off of my last job. My girlfriend seems to be helping me alot till i start my new job. But I owe back payments and now I have to go to court in a couple of days. I was just wondering if i am keeping my daughter 21 days out of the month and my ex wife is willing to say yes, my daughter stays with his father for most of the time. will I be doing jail time and another fact of it is that my ex doesnt want me to go to jail eather. She says it doesnt make sence if a father willing to take care of there child but cant afford to pay, cause of loss of job or what ever they go to jail? Well me and my ex get along better as friends like we can sit down and talk and chit chat, there was bitterness in the begaining of the divorce thats why she clamed the child support to make sure i gave her money which was no problem then, but now I lost my job. I dont know what to do or even begain to think. But my ex wife is also willing to see if she can stop the child support payments cause we really dont need the state of Texas to let us know we have a child that needs things, we are grow adults that have a child together and know that she needs both parents to take care of are daughter.
