Father rights vs. mothers rights.

I now have custody of my 7 year old daughter. Finally the state listened to me and took her out of her mothers home and the court placed her with me. She has been with me for 2 years. For the 5 years my daughter was with her mother, her mother would call me every week and threaten me that I would not see my daughter becuse she hasntrecieved a CS check this week. It was automatically taken out of my weekly pay so really it was out of my hands when the state decided to cut her a check. SHe didnt work, lived off people, had no car, no license, paid no bills and failed to send my daughter to school 15-20 days out of every month during school. She used the checks to buy alcohol. and was to hungover all the time to get up and get my daugter on the bus. Three times she forgot to go to the bus stop and get her off the bus, and at least 2 times a month before she went to public school she didnt show up to day care to pick her up before they closed. I paid $150.00 a week in child support to her because she failed to keep a job for more than 2 weeks at a time. It was hard.....every phone call from her consisted to 'Wheres my money, you havent paid your support this week...." Well guess what.........the state crucified me on payment to her, they came after me like a bear, and it was all becaue she wouldn't do what she could have done to help, the state actually told me that if she didnt work, i had a duty to support her also. Well here is the great part, now that i have custody of my daughter, she has failed to pay her payments which is $202.00/month...$50 bucks a week. And here is the funny part...while she sits at home drinking, her husband goes to work, makes all the money, and while her arrears are being built up every year when tax time comes HIS taxes get intercepted and the state takes them, of course i have to wait a whole year before I get them, because he has the right to contest it but never does. SHe is a 38 year old dead beat mother of 2, her son also lives with his father, he is 18 and she has never paid a dime for him either. So can anyone tell me why the state plotted a rampage on me when I was paying my support, but she hasnt been paying and we have only been to court one time to modify it. And when we went to court establish it and went to modify it becaue she wasnt paying, she had some lame excuse of why she wasnt paying, I cant find a job, no one is paying much........! But when they established my payments they went o n what Iwas capable of making...not what I was actually making. The system treats men differantly than women, even when the roles are reversed.
