During my last deployment my now X wife decided she couldn't wait for me to get home so she went to her x boyfriend and they slept together. With in a month of my returning home she became pregnant and within 2 months I found out she had cheated and was still cheating. My daughter was born and I tried to work it out with her so we could still both be around and raise her even though we would not be together. She refused and filed for full custody. Now comes the kicker. I won joint custody but agreed to still pay partial child support cause it was just easier than continuing the court battle and making the lawyers rich and my priority was MORE TIME WITH MY DAUGHTER which I achieved. I keep insurance on her and pay half of all her extra bills. My X recieved double the set child support for 4 months. When I asked her to return that money she told me "YOUR LOSE MY GAIN". She says she makes 8.50/hour but has a Bachelors Degree in Business Law, she traded in a 05 4 door SUV and now drives a new crew cab truck and is wearing new cloths everytime I pick my daughter up. So tell me where does the money go that is supposed to be for my daughter. Why should she get paid any Child Support when we share custody 50/50 and Why when she got paid double the set amount would she not return the over paid portion. I live from pay check to pay check and she lives with her parents and has no bills. I know for my X it is all about the money....Thank goodness my new girlfriend is all about our kids and time with them and doesn't care if she recieves her child support from her dead beat x husband.
