Had custody for 16 1/2 of 20 years, but I owe

Son's mother took off and didn't see her till she had son. 6 mos later I filed for paternity, mediation, concilliation and got visitation, etc and child support I set up. Was never a question if I paid because 2 mos later after waiting 6 months, she lost custody, he was 13 mos by then, had custody till 18. When he was like 5 or 6 I get this thing saying I owe like $2500 in child support. I was given full-custody in a court hearing at Durango. I dispute, no good. He is 20 now and still supporting, mother has seen 3 times since 1992 and only paid $7000 lump sum when her father died. DCSE tried to take money from my bank acct a couple of months ago to GIVE TO THE MOTHER??? HUH?? Back in 1995 or 6 when I called, they told me, "You can't be the custodial parent, you are the father!!" Since then it has been a nightmare for the last 15 years trying to raise him with BAD CREDIT because I owe the mother child support?? I can't find an attorney, and don't know how in the world they calculate this or figure this out. I raised my son, and have been punished dearly. I'm surprised they don't arrest me or something because why not? 16 1/2 years of garbage credit that hurt who the most?? My Son!! I take custody and those morons punish us and ok they are just basically a collection agency, but this state is insane, come on!! I just want to get my credit back!!
