He has beat the system.

I had an open case for 2 and half years. During that time, he has worked at many places. I updated the child support division yet he seems to have changed jobs by the time they get ready to send info to the job. I know found out he is not working. I cannot get him to come get the kids nor does he call them to just say hello. The child support division in Texas has not worked in my favor at all. There are no other places that are able to help a person like me. I have 3 kids by this man and just recently found out he has 2 others by another female(s). I'm not sure what other options are available but low-income mothers like me have to struggle to make ends meet and make sure the kids have all they need.

Justice for the innocent

I am currently trying to gather facts about child support laws and how the system works in punishing those who refuse to pay child support. Which it honestly doesn't work so that is what I am trying to change. I doubt me alone can get anything done and hey nothing may be done at all. But at least I know I tried. My child's father has never gotten behind past 3000 dollars. But why should that even be an option for him? After reading about child support evaders I think it is ridiculous that some are allowed to get behind 120,000 dollars before a warrant is even issued. The children are innocent in the situation, they didn't ask to be brought into the world and especially a world where they may not even be able to have food on the table or clothes on their back. Yes the parent made the decision to have a child with that person, but why should the child suffer for our actions? I have contacted a house representative for the state of texas and will contact every single one of them until I can find someone who will help the innocent children be taken care of. The laws have to change and I am willing to go to any lengths to get someone to listen. I am really not interested in people's negative comments or opinions concerning this, so please don't waste your time. I will not read them and will pray for you to grow some kind of heart and realize the children are the victims, not just the sole provider for that child.

I AM A SINGLE PARENT WHO CHOOSES NOT TO RECEIVE CHILD SUPPORT. MY DAUGHTER IS 9. I CHOOSE NOT TO RECEIVE CHILD SUPPORT BECAUSE IT WAS ME WHO DID NOT MAKE SURE HE WAS WEARING A CONDOM. PLUS I DID NOT SAY NO. I HEAR SO MANY WOMEN SAYING BAD THINGS AND BEING SO UPSET OVER CHILD SUPPORT. YOU CHOSE THAT MAN YOU ARE TALKING SO BAD ABOUT TO MAKE A CHILD WITH. IF THEY ARE SO BAD WHY WOULD YOU WANT THAT PERSON IN YOUR CHILDS LIFE ANYWAYS?

Change the Laws

Anyone that has a problem with the system, please remember that laws are written by us... START WITH YOUR LOCAL GOVERNMENT..especially in an election year. Texas does have some stupid laws and so do other states, but we have to let the people that write laws know where there voters stand!!! So write daily, weekly, monthly letters to let the candidates know how bad it is for us. Contact the candidates by e-mail prior to elections and ask pertinant questions.. if they don't support us, turn that e-mail over to the media... I will give you an example of a question to ask.. What is your position on child support evaders and what are you going to do if elected to fix it? Know the laws in the states and we can get them changed.. the federal laws are a joke, because there are too many loopholes. It needs to be simplified.. if you are delinquent $5000.00 or more and jump state lines... working or not...FELONY! If we weren't taking care of the children in our care it would be deemed as NEGLECT. NCP's that shirk responsibility are negligent, too. Custodial Parents --- Write your senators, congress, govenor, mayor WHOEVER will listen and by all means the MEDIA!!! Use what we have to change the laws. One person will not make a difference

Wanda if your "X" is jumping state lines to avoid child support and owes you over 10,000...inquire if your case can be transferred over to the federal child support enforcement office. Read teh federal child support abandonment laws. If you meet all of the benchmarks, you may have federal powers to assist you with enforcement of the deliquent support.

Hey ,This is anonymous in Indiana again.So ladies, yes I had to hire another lawyer to take my case again (thats not right either).So,It is probably going to cost me an arm and a couple of feat to pay to get the noncustodial parent to pay his fair share.I will prbably have to wait a couple of months to see any kind of payment for my son to get his child support.I am very sorry ladies that we(the good parents)have to go through such greif in order for THE DEAD BEAT NONCUSTODIAL PARENTS TO PAY.Maybe some were over the rainbow,that for some odd reason,we ,the good parents,will get some kind of payment or revenge.But ladies,I am going to be possitive on this sitsuiation,because some how or some way we will get the justice that we good parents deserve.I feel good already,dont you?

BOY, you gals in texas are in for a real treat!!!!!!!!!!!.I am a parent from Indiana. Ok ,I have had a court order to make the non custodial parent pay child support since 1999. This man has moved to the state of california . In order for me to engage in a new court order , I have to come up with phisycal address in order to send new child support orders to the non custodial parent .Mind you THE SYSTEM CAN NOT FIND THIS DEAD BEAT DAD!!!!!!!. EVEN though he lives in the state of CALifornia, the state of indiana is too chicken shit to find this man for some reason .I have tried evrything (support kids government etc,,,) Still no help . My attorney seud me in return because the system would not find him .My attorney seud me for the amount of court costs every thing .Again to this day ladies i am screwed by Indiana child support laws .So if you are married to Lent, run as fast as you can because this f@#$%^ will not pay. Do not have kids with this man, because he has three (count them)childeren by three different mothers and behind in the amount of several thousands of dollars. And get this ladies, my sons granmother is hiding this man and had the balls to give my son a cellphone that came from the non custodial parent. The conclusion of this story, this man has the brass to threaten me with visitation rights going to court (in the state of California)so the non custodial parent can have his rights back. Mind you he left the state of indiana (which revokes his rights) to live in the state of california to run away from his

I got a divorce from my husband who had been married before me and owed back child support.After our divorce I was awarded everything(Ha Ha).I sold our property and before I could get the deed I had to pay his back child support and in the mean time he had moved back in with the mother of his child to which the back child support was owed to.Plus I had to pay off his back taxes.All in all I sold the property for 77,000.00 and got 20,000.00.Tell me where that seems fair.
