Dead beat mother walked out on her children into the arms of a dead beat trucker. Hasn't paid her child support for over two months plus quit her job so she didn't have to have it come out of her paycheck. When do they take the drivers licence and issue bench warrents? You read about it but does it ever happen? Maybe some of you men don't need your support payments but with the economy these days every little bit helps. Getting tough to make ends meet. I'm not complaing about raising my kids, they're amazing, but it has been said that it took two of us to make them!! She hasn't seen her children but only twice in over a year. Nothing for Christmas or birthdays, not even a card or a phone call. Our lives are great and we get along just fine but why do the dead beats in all our lives get to walk away and chose to ignore their responsibilities?

I am being a man and have been a great father to my girls! I actually have not been on here since my last comment but I was emailed a notice saying I had a new comment....You are right...its not about the money, its about the kids and being a good parent to the kids.....But, it is what it is....If you are ordered to pay support then thats what you need to do! It actually took the 2 of us to create my kids so one is as equally as responsible as the other......Dont get me wrong, I dont need ANY of her money nor do my children...its actually just a matter of fact so to speak.....you go out making babies and then bail on them then you need to be brought back to reality and help support the kids you have created......instead, go and have 2 other kids? Ohwell, either way, I told the courts to back off since she BAILED AND LEFT THE STATE....lost cause

Dude, You agreed to take on your kids. Be a man and support them. You don't need her money. It's a male point of pride. I do not need anyone's money to take care of my children. I do not need child support. I do not make that much, but it is MY job to raise them!!!!

My ex is behind over 10,000. behind this year. Recently in a contempt hearing the hearing officer decided that it would be premature to find him in contempt. Really... I guess he needs to recover from buying his new condo...and god forbid he be short on gas money for his SUV or boat. I am at home taking care of his 2 children barely eating while he is out partying nonstop. His attorney fees so far exceed what his lifetime child support obligation might be, but when you are rich there are different rules. Very different rules. The law allows you to cheat your family if you can afford to do so A mediator took the time recently explained the golden rule. Those with the gold rule. Sarasota, Fl isn't the place to live if you are counting on help raising children.

For so long, I have heard the term "deadbeat" father thrown around, and I am getting tired of hearing it. I am a single father raising two children, and I have only received 3 payments of support in the past 7 months. Sadly enough the court only hit her with $50 a month for those 3 months, but when we returned back at the end of the 3 months, they raised it to $250. They told her she had to have a job, but she failed to get one....So, she hasnt paid a dime since then. No one wants to help me with this....Unfortunately the court set it up for payments to come direct to me instead of through the courts....How do I change this? Otherwise she is not paying a dime and is getting away with it.....Let it be a man in her shoes, and he would have garnishments or be in jail by now.

DEAR HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I am a mother from Indiana trying to get child support from a dead beat dad. My experience with court system is that I have to come up with a physical address and ssn. Now how in the world can us good parents come up with such info that we go as far (say attorney wise)even though we go as far as paying good money for these people to find these dead beat parents and turn around and tell us good parents that they can not find these dead beat parents. We, the good parents go by the laws and these people go on breaking these laws. Do you feel cheated like I do? It seems like they drag there feet in such situations like this. I hope and pray that there is good attorney that is willing to go PRO BONO on our behalf. Good luck to you on finding this dead beat parent and hope that you get the justice that needed for you and your childeren. if you know where she works (and its not under the table) all you have to do is send your court ordered papers to the state child support or call your local county welfare office and they will tell you where to send in your papers and they will garnish her wages and send you a check for that amount- even back pay!!
