I am 17 years old and I don't see a penny of the child support my father pays to my mother.

I am 17 years old and I live in snobbish Scottsdale, Arizona. I have tried to do a lot of research on the laws of child support, but have come up with mixed answers and un-clarified viewpoints. I am a Senior in High School and my parents got a divorce when I was in the third grade. I have a 15 year old brother, and my dad pays a total of $500 of child support per month. I am curious about what this money is supposed to cover? My mother claims that it goes towards are rent, utilities, and groceries. I am a full time student and I have a full time job as well, working and saving up for money for college that my academic scholarships will not cover. I pay for my own food, clothes, school fees, and will be entirely paying for college without the help of either parents (both claim to not have the money to help me.) I am forced to walk a mile and a half in the 110 degree heat with a 40 pound back pack to and from school and then two miles to and from work. I usually have 12 hour days including school and work, and I am pleading with my mom and dad everyday for some rights to the money I've earned. I have over $1000 saved up, and am not able to touch it. I really feel the need to buy a motor or electric scooter, maybe even a car, to save myself from more multiple injuries from the tedious walking I have to do everyday. I am a straight A student and I am wondering about the legalities of this situation, if anyone could help me figure this out I would be eternally grateful, as I feel I have some right to some of the money my father pays for child support, especially since my shoes have holes in them and when it rains my feet get soaked. It would be nice to have some say and some legal counciling. Thank you, please e-mail me at TaylorHAnderson@aol.com if you have any feedback.
