My daughter is now 10 months old. I have not gone after child support this whole time. I didnt want to deal with problems and lies and just childish things. My ex told when the day i found out I was pregnant that he wanted nothing to do with the child so whatever you know. It's your loss not mine. Anyways I am now with the best man I could ever imagine. My husband is now wanting to adopt my daughter. He is all shes knows as Dad we have been together since I was 3 months pregnant. We went and talked to a private attourney found out everything that we had to do to get the adoption process rolling on my daughter.
Now this is where its really starting to P** me off. I dont want child support We have everything this child could ever ask for and more. But in order to start the adoption process we have to start a child support case and then from there get him to sign the waver that he agrees to sign his rights off.
2 weeks ago we had our meeting to start the child support. He couldnt even show up to that. The case worker just called him and we did it over the phone. we had everything agreed upon and worked out. I was called the following monday that he all of a sudden wasnt going to sign the agreement and that he wanted to go to court. He told everyone up there even the case worker he didnt want to hear the visitation he got and everything like that cause he still didnt want anything to do with his daughter. GOOD! makes it easier on the baby to just not see some other person trying to play dad just because he wanted to make me mad when he doesnt want to do anything with her.
I dont want the money i told him that and thats why on the agreement we had set it so low. I dont want the fight and court date after court date! What the hell am i suppose to do here. Cause now im stuck for another 6 months fighting this POS for no reason and now his parents are getting involved keep in mind his dad is the sherriff in the couty that he lives and are now trying to take my child. Not the dad heaven forbid that he does anything no but me exs parents are now trying to do everything for him so they take the baby from me!
Im so lost i have no idea what to do here! please help!
