I have no rights..........

About a year ago I was forced into signing my rights away. It wasn't because i didn't want to pay child support or see my kids. What had happen my x wife was arrested for drugs and fire arm. And for some reason the welfare thought that I allowed this to happen and did nothing about it. I live in another state and was not allowed to talk to my kids. And when my daughter did finally call me she was trying to tell me what was going on. But her mom found out and put a stop to it. And now I am informed that the kids might be with her again.

Now the state of Oklahoma is coming after me at full force. They want 65% of my check plus they want me to put my kids on my insurance. They want all this but I have no rights to the kids. I am not allowed to see them,talk to them or anything else. When i was sending them stuff for Christmas etc.....I was informed that there mother threw it in the trash. How can a man fight DHS when you don't have the money and no one want to listen to what you have to say. The law needs to be changed that the fathers have the same rights as the mothers.

We also should be able to get the same benfits as the mother. Why should we be told no we can't help you because you paying child support. Yes I have remarried but so had she but she got a divorce. Its like my x doesn't want me to have anyone in my life but its ok for her to have men in her life. And I would like to see a copy where it shows that just because your the father that its just your place to take care of the kids. Now days it takes 2 working to make it in this world. And someone needs to explain why the state thinks its going to get a man to pay child support if they take his drive lic,hunting lic,fishing lic . It seem that they want to take it all away from a man.

If they don't have a driver lic how in the world are they going to be able to get to their jobs so they can make the money to pay child support. This is going to far.

Men who consistently support their children financially of their own accord should not have to deal with the child support system. It should be a system for dead beats like my son's father. I've been lenient for 17 years and he's only given me money for 10 months and even then, after 2 months he was always $200. short. Filing for child support will pretty much ruin him (works in the financial industry) and at this point, I don't care. I raised my son on my own, paid for all of his expenses on my own and when I really need the help, this ****** whines like a female dog.

dead beats that give the rest a bad name...I pay 530.00 a month that is to be raised to 760.00 I have a house payment that I can hardly make at 530.00 I am with my son one less day a week, he's seven now it's been that way for years...I go broke because she won't carry her own life forward. but thats the law! socialism at its finest! kill the ambitious and what do we got? I'm a 27 year old master plumber who can't afford a house and a kid cause the goverment is doing my budget for me...

I see a lot of people rebutting and saying deadbeat dad. To evgen say that is sexist. some people don't realize what it is to lose everything including your family.You are allowed your rights supposedly granted by the ficticious constitution. Every one finds it easy to jump on the "deadbeat dad" bandwagon, even though percentage wise, the Deadbeat dads pay more consistantly than deadbeat moms do. It is sexist the way our jusice system operates. It has become acceptable to bash divorced dads, I mean, come on, the must be to blame.

Any human being who begets a life is responsible for that life. Who do you think is going to bury you when you die? Men are the head of household so in a divorce the women generally keep the kids but you do not have to be abused. Get you an attorney fast, save up or beg for $500 and pay a lawyer to start on your case. It won't be easy finding one but eventually some firm will take your case.
Do not ever say you are not going to pay child support because that shows your are irresponsive to the fact that you have two lives depending on you. You do not have to be abused but you do have rights to your children regardless of your gender. Get a lawyer, pay child support, and sue her for visitation and/or alienation.

This is one reason StopDHS.com is working to change this to get the power out of DHS's hands and put them in to someone else while at the same time effectively protect the children who are being abused

Hmmm, where does it state if you're a father you should support you're children. If you father a child you should financially as well as emotionally support youre children. The mother of you're children have to. I laugh because many of you deadbeats think that you are making a woman rich. LOL 154.00 a month which is what I get for two children, pays for very little. I certainly am not getting rich. I work two jobs to support my children so thier deadbeat father can sit on his butt and do drugs. I dont resent my children I resent thier father who thinks he should have all the rights but non of the responsibility.And if the father doesnt or refuses to work I say take every license they have.
