I Pay Child Support!!
I currently pay child support for my three children from a previous marriage. My ex-wife was in a relationship and had a child with her new love giving birth to a child. She has taken me back to court to increase the child support payment made for my three children and told the judge that she is "In the process" of taking the father of her 4th child to court for support. This has gone on now for 4 years and is "In the process". Why is it that I pay my support, like I should, but yet she is allowed to NEVER take the other father to court and establish any type of child support for that child. Further, she receives public assistance and I cannot get anyone in the State of Indiana to listen to me about any of this. I am not looking for sympathy or winning the gift card, that is not my point. The point I am trying to get out there is I pay my child support, WHY DOESN'T HE HAVE TO? I am not sure where to turn to get anyone to listen to me and when you think about it, each day that I go to work, not only am I working to pay my child support, but MY TAX dollars are going to help support someone on public assistance that HASN'T done anything to get the child support from the other child's father.
