my daughter and me on the last day i seen her over a month ago

My name is Joshua Overstreet from hattiesburg ms.I was in my daughters life everyday for the first 10 months untill her mother and i broke up toward the end of january ,,,well to make a long story short I have paid child support every week since we broke up self will too i may add, we have never went to court but i still give her a check every week and im still not being allowed to see my daughter . My ex just moved to louisiana a month ago and since then she has shown me a hatefull side to her and she tries to have control over me and my daughter. I WANT to know that when we do go to court can she get in any legal trouble for denying me my parental rights when i have been paying child support from day one??? Go to your local Attorney Generals office and set up child support. Taking a child out of the state without your permission is child napping. Also get a good lawyer and look up a father's rights group. They will help a lot. They will help a lot.

put URSELF on child support through a court order

You need to put yourself on child support through a court order. By paying it without a COURT ORDER, the SYSTEM will say you are just sending gifts to her and make you pay from the start of her birth to current date. PLEASE STOP SENDING ANY MORE MONEY TO HER...UNTIL YOU GET A COURT ORDER!! or else all ur money u have paid, will be considered, GIFTS, not support! TRUST ME ON THIS!! SPEAKING FROM experience

first of all, she is not allowed to leave your daughter out of the state! you could get a emergency court hearing! Then I would file for custody & get it on court record that you are paying support & a list of events that has happened since your adorable daughter has left. You may be surprised. Also go to your state child office & ask them if they have a parent facilitator that is free legal advice for the parents. Good luck keep me posted.

well good luck unfornately court is the only answer and they don't necesarily favor the fathers words of advice start paying her support through the court which in CA is possible even if you dont have a case yet if not keep a copy of checks or money orders on file never pay cash without proof you can be stuck paying twice if she chooses to deny recieving payment i'm speaking from school of hard knocks so don't ignore my advice and when and if you go to court mediatation is extremly important you must be cool and soft spoken never raise voice or argue do not become emotional must keep your cool VIP

I am not sure about her getting into trouble . However you said you paid her every week . If that means that you paid her and not though the childsupport office . I urge you to send it though the childsupport office. Are you will wind up like I did . paid my ex 30years ago guess what the so called child is not 34 years old married with two children of her own. I have been sued and now i am in my 50's. And owe 148,430.00. That is interest for all of those years plus childsupport. I pay half of my paycheck each payperiod. I sure hope you have all of your receipts for her payments if not try and get them because you can wind up like me. Their is no limit of statution on childsupport. Good luck .

she cant get in trouble and you shouldnt think like that. Just worry about you and your daughter not causing trouble.
go get a lawyer...go to court...and fight all the way...you make dam sure you fight for 50/50!!!! You move to the same town as her to make it even easier! Dont let her and her laywer think you can get nothing but every other weekend. You fight!

You need to stop giving child support directly to her !! The courts look at it as a gift not child support!! If anythig go to your local Child support office and have them set up you an account in escrow then it will be counted as child support and she won't recieve it till she takes you to court ,but f you don't do this then they will make you pay her back child support even the money will have to be paid that you already gave her !! So trust me the first thing you should do i set p theaccount then take her to court and see your girl!! My x left the state we lived in and my daughter is 19 going to be 20 this year and I only got to see her 3 or 4 times o you need to get her into court as soon as you can!! Hope this helps because I don't think any parent deserves to not see there child!!!
