if you can get in front of a judge without an atorney,ask the judge to place a counselor and parent evaluator on your case. YOU WILL WIN with these two on your case.my husband and I just went thru the same thing and we won.I did not think my stepson would turn on his mother or talk about what she was doing because he was scared of what his mom would do to him or get mad at him,but he did. I just told him that his mom would be to scared to do anything to him because she would be to scared that he would talk to the counsleor or evaluator about it. this will help your child by having someone safe to talk to and it will help you because you have a non biast recomendation to the court.

If there is a real major concern then ever drop it and never wait. Abuse is deadly. Don't give up!! Take it to the papers. Notify any willing lawyers that will help you.

Anytime you see your kids and they look to be beaten, you need to take pictures. This way you have proof of everything that is happening to them. I dont know where you live in NM but in the bigger cities there I know they have great judges and lawyers.

Do what you have to make your kids safe. it seems like you are waiting for permission from the government to do something this is wrong the government don't care about your kids be decisive and take action but think about it and plan it out well. also remember possession is nine tenths of the law.
