2 KIDS, GOT COURT ORDERED CHILD SUPPORT IN SEPTEMBER OF 97. PAID CHILD SUPORT EVERY MONTH SINCE THAT DATE. FIRTS CHILD TURNS 18 TEN YEARS LATER, WHEN I WENT TO GET HER REMOVED FROM CHILD SUPPORT, WAS INFORMED THAT I OWED 7 THOUSAND IN BACK PAYMENTS. TURNS OUT THAT THEY DIDN'T GET THE FIRST 3 PAYMENTS. $650.00 A MONTH I PAID DIRECTLY TO THE MOTHER. (MY BAD!)

SO, THE MOTHER REFUSED TO SIGN AN AFFIDAVIT STATING THAT SHE GOT THE PAYMENTS (NOT SURPRISED) ATTORNEY SAYS, HIS FEE COULD BE EQUAL TO WHAT I OWE, SO I MIGHT AS WELL PAY IT, PLUS WE MAY NOT WIN THE CASE.

OK, WENT AHEAD AND STARTED THE PAYMENTS BY CONTINUING TO PAY THE SUPPORT FOR 2 KIDS INSTEAD OF ONE. ANYWAY, I GOT A LIST OF MY PAYMENTS AND FOUND OUT THAT THEY WERE CHARGING ME EACH MONTH'S DUE PAYMENT ALONG WITH THE PAYMENTS I MISSED IN INTEREST.

SO, WHEN I CALLED AND SID HOW MUCH DO I OWE, THEY SAID $7,650.00, INSTEAD OF $7,000.00. STILL DON'T SEE A PROBLEM? WELL, THEY ARE CHARGING ME INTEREST ON $650.00 EACH MONTH WHEN IT'S NOT EVEN DUE OR LATE YET.

NOW THAT IT'S PAID AND LOOKING AT THE AMORTIZATION SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS MADE, IT SEEMS TO ME, THAT SOMEBODY OWE ME SOME MONEY.

My husband always pays his child support, he lost his job and got behind 900 dollars. He payed 400 a month, so that is only 2 months and intrest. She took him to court, the judge order my husband to pay it right then.But before that the judge asked her what she wanted and she said she wanted him to go to jail. She wanted revenge because he just had another child 4 months before. Now 4 years later she wanted to buy a new house with her new spouse(they make more money then we do)and decided my hubby should pay for it. The judge order my husband to pay over 1000 a month to her. We have two children together and my children only get 4.34% of his income and the goverment doesnt include health insurance on them and her children get 20.66% of his income and we dont get to claim even one of them on our tax return. Her house was nice and payed for but she just has to have the best, it just suxs that my kids have to suffer. We have his kids all the time cause she doesnt want them but she will let us have shared custody because she wants the money(which she doesnt spend on them)they wear ratty clothes unless we buy them. Child support stops when they turn 18 to her. We will help the kids and give them money but not one dime to her and her mean drunk new husband.

I feel that pain

When my son was little, we had the same problems. My husband owed back child support, and they'd do the same things to us, like garnish tax returns. We went without, while the ex had a wonderful life. They make it so hard to move on, that males find it too hard these days to father children at all. This is why European Americans numbers are dwindling. I know it's why I only had one child with him, because so much of his income goes to the ex wife. There wasn't enough for that one, little alone more than that.
Who wants to be on welfare? We never did.

AND THE GOVERMENT WONDERS WHY THE CHILD SUPPORT DEBT IS OUTSTANDING!

MY HUSBAND OWES BACK CHILD SUPPORT ON HIS 23 YEAR OLD SON.IT WAS ORIGINALLY 20,000 HE HAS PAID HIS EXWIFE 17,000 THE ATTORNEY GENERAL SAYS HE STILL OWES 27,000 ON TOP OF THAT THEY ADD 150.00 A MONTH ON INTEREST.THEY WITHHOLD 70.00 A WEEK OUT OF HIS CHECK,AS OF LAST YEAR THEY HAVE STARTED TAKING WHAT THEY CAN GET OUT OF OUR INCOME TAX, WE ARE HAVING TO WAIT ALMOST 3 MONTHS TO GET OUR INCOME TAX BECAUSE I HAVE TO DO AN INJURED SPOUSE FORM,AND IT TAKES THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE 11WEEKS TO PROCESS THIS FORM, ON TOP OF ALL THIS THEY WERE ALLOWED TO TAKE HALF OF MY CHILD TAX CREDIT ALL THE EARNED INCOME CREDIT AND HALF OF OUR STIMULIS CHECK, THAT WE RECEIVE ON MY 5 AND 6 YEAR OLD DAUGHTERS, AND OUR 4 YEAR OLD SON.THEY TOOK AWAY FROM MY CHILDREN AND GAVE THIS MONEY TO HIS EXWIFE, AND SHE WENT ON A VACATION WITH THIS MONEY.(THEY WONDER WHY THERE IS SUCH A BIG DEBT IN CHILD SUPPORT) WELL MAYBE THEY OUGHT TO TAKE A LOOK AT THE UNGODLY AMOUNT OF INTEREST THEY ARE ALLOWED TO CHARGE ON(CHILD SUPPORT). THIS IS CHILD SUPPORT PEOPLE, OUR FATHERS ARE NOT BUYING THERE CHILDREN THEY ARE JUST SUPPOSE TO BE PAYING BE PAYING SUPPORT FOR THEM. WHERE ARE THE FATHERS RIGHTS IN THIS MATTER??????
