All of the second wives seem to have the cruel thought that children from a previous marriage shouldn't get anything. I am a second wife to my husband, and would never think of skimping on his kids from a previous marriage! Ladies...do you want your ex husband to skimp on your kids when he remarries? Yeah-right!

THAT IS WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY HUSBAND, HE HAS ONE CHILD COMING OFF BUT HAS TO PAY THE SAME AMOUNT FOR 3 CHILDREN WHICH IS CRAZY. AFTER TAXES ANB CHILD SUPPORT HE WILL BRING HOME ENOUGH FOR GAS! HOW CAN THEY LOOK AT HIS PAY STUB AND IGNORE THE FACT THAT HE HAS SO FAR THIS YEAR MADE APPROX 22K AND SHE HAS ALREADY GOTTEN 14K OF THAT, NOW MINUS THE TAXES WHAT DOES HE HAVE LEFT, BUT THAT IS OKAY, SHE WENT A REMOVED ONE CHILD OFF MEDICAL AFTER IT WAS AGREED THAT MY HUSBAND WOULD PAY 100% OF UN-REIMBURSED MEDICAL, SO SHE REMOVES THE CHILD AND NOW HE IS BEING VIOLATED FOR MEDICAL THAT HE HAD NO KNOWLEDGE THAT HIS EX EVEN PAID UNTIL SHE SENT HIM THE BILL. WELL THE MAGISTRATE TOLD HIM TO SHUT UP AND I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOUR PROOF!!!!! JUSTICE, WHERE?

That's the problem with the entire judicial side of the child support system. If you are a male AND you are not the custodial parent, you will get screwed each and every time just because the courts can. For some reason, whether or not you are in full compliance from the start, they still look at you as a deadbeat/scum who should be punished at every turn. The system here in NY disgusts me, and needs a major overhaul.

Wow I thought it was only me the same thing just happen to us today and because we could not afford a lawyer they ran over us like a train and we ended up paying more child support and she sat back with a smugg look on her face because she had a lawyer. This is not fair! How is taking more gonna better the child's life when he comes with us that's just less money for us to spend on his son or our two other kids.
