Mad Custodial Mom

My child's biological father (he has no other kind) promised me and my mother to our faces that he would help with monetary support and hands-on care for my son, but he lied - shock! He has only seen my son once at birth and refused to even look at him at our child support mediation meeting - what a standup guy! He evem announced at the meeting that he wanted to sign away his rights but was informed in turn that he could do that but he was still going to pay.

So he was ordered to pay and when he is working, the state garnishes his wages, but he keeps quitting or whatever so there are months when I don't receive anything. Too bad I didn't know he was that kind of low down before I was with him. I believe he keeps changing jobs so he doesn't have to pay and sponges off his parents and girlfriend/? now wife, who is the most jealous, hateful headcsse I've ever known.

I would rather see him in jail with his license suspended than see him out and about for a few months not helping out. I truly loathe him now and my mother has not been the same since this all happened. It seems they (the State) gives these slackers too much time lolly-gagging around - when do they punish them for not paying? I guess if they have a job for a few months it looks like they're at least trying. If he was losing jobs through no fault of his own, that would be another thing, but I don't believe it with this slug with the hateful girl.

I wouldn't have this guy back on a platinum platter. He needs to be holed up a while so he can decide which he likes better - taking care of his responsibilities, or losing his freedom. I hope the state takes from his income tax refund what he owes my son. Girls, women - TAKE BIRTH CONTROL CONSISTENTLY or remain abstinent if you don't want a situation like this, or worse. Good luck to all custodial parents who aren't receiving the help for their child/children as they should be.
