Whats worse than grandparents who have no time or interest in their grandchildren? Thier money is more important than the grandkids, My parents have been gone for over 10 years. My poor son who is soon to be 6 has never even met his grandmother, who doesn't acknowledge him. He met grandpa once, with no interest from him. I just don't get it, I loved my grandparents, and my son basically has none. Just because you are a Morongo Indian shouldn't take away your desire to be a grandparent...sherry...it's your loss. Honestly I don't care if I never get a dime, I just wish you had LOVE for your kids and grandkids. Again, its your loss.

I am never giving up. My son deserves the best colleges, the best health care, and dental. His Dad just pisses away all his money on drugs, gambling, women, toys,..etc...
Update. Dad is over 75K behind. I have 1 Senator watching my case. Dad has at least 2 warrants.
Another Christmas has passed, no present, not even a call. I promise I will fight until my dying day, not just for my son but for every child out there whose dad can afford to support, but is to selfish to do.

Latest update... Dad is over 55000 in arrears. Child support services can't collect. What a joke. I am working with a senator to change the laws. This is BS, Dad is living high on the hog on the river, flying planes, boating, drinking, gambling etc.etc. He hasn't had a license in years. would you like him flying over your house? But he spends NO time with his only son. We are surviving but times are definitley getting tougher. MORONGO what is the matter with you that the children can't get their support? My son is 5 an deserves all the activities, head start, Serrano language classes, etc. as the rest of your descendants. I have taught him what I can, Yuhaviatam, etc, mostly from San Manuel. I can't even access medical information and my son had open heart surgery at 1. I am so mad that I can't get my son what he deserves just because his dad is such a loser. He has 4 warrants and cases pending. My 5 year old is innocent and respectable. I have written the tribal council and got no response. I am not giving up. I am proud of my sons heritage and hope he will be too when this all ends.
My family history is mostly German, and have had absolutely nothing to do with what happened in the past to Indians. They were just farmers trying to survive. I hate Hitler and what he did to the Jewish people. I am a loving and compassionate person who just wants to survive and make sure my son can afford to go to College. I know I could keep writing but it feel like no one listens.

Morongo denies child support order by: MAD MOM
I am not on AFDC or anything. Dad is now over 50K behind. He says I will not get anything unless I close my case with child support services. Then I will only get what he thinks I should when I should. When is Morongo going to step up to the plate and make sure their descendants are supported?

I too am in the same situation. Only my babies father is from a local reservation. IVE WORKED TWO JOBS SINCE MY LITTLE GIRL WAS BORN 3 YRS AGO. with the recent gas prices I had to quit one. my daughters father is encarcerated and already gets arrears taken out for previous children and still has plenty that he can't spend. My order is for $255 a month and that's fine. Is harder to collect for me cuz im not on AFDC?

I just can't understand why these tribes don't take care of their children. It seems the money means more than the kids. San Manuel is a much more respectable tribe than Morongo, so your comment surprises me. My son is Serrano, like all those at San Manuel. However, he is registered with Morongo. Laws need to be changed and I am doing what I can to do that. However, the local papers, governor, etc. are afraid of the money issues. I am not. I will fight until the end. My son is more precious than all the money they have. My advice is to go to the BIA (Bureau of Indian affairs) to plead your case.

They don't have child support laws, just like they don't have the same gaming commission. A friend of mine found out that she was part San Manuel Indian, guess what! there's a statute of limitations on that! Guess they don't need anymore indians in their soveirgn nation!
