My ex-husband is been on childsupport since our son was two, he now 17yrs old. I recently receive a letter from dhr in Montgomery Al. They collect 1200.00 for the arrear, but none was pay to me. When I asked they inform me that I had receive assist back in 1991 and 1998 so the money was taken for that I have received assist but not 1200.00 worth from them. They said it was the interest on the money. My question is how are you help the child if you are charge Interest on Money they haven't even got?
