My Messed Up Story

First off I was only married 3 months and I adopted my ex's daughter. We got married 1 month before my son was born and lasted 2 months after. She got in to smoking meth. I tried to stop it but got put to the side. I've gone threw a few jobs in the meantime and did get behind, but only by about 1500. I have had a good job for a while now and am about to become an asst manager. Anyways they set it up so I can only see the ids at her house 8 hours one day and 10 another. I live 2 and half hours away so when I come up she is gone and never will answer my calls. But now we are at a new stage. Child services just took the ids from her. They found cocaine in my sons system. He is only 4. At first no one even called me to let me know. When I finally caught wind the case worker says that I cant get the kids and that she is trying to reunite them back with my ex.... why????? I have no felonies any charges of any kind. She was doing cocaine with my son around. Why should she be able to get them before me?
