I too am from MS and I filed child support when my child was two weeks old. Over the past 8 years I have had 4 different workers and each time I have a new worker I am told that they have nothing in my case file. It is sad that the father has even spoken with them and said here I am and here is the number to HR. He has given them all the information that they needs as well as myself. I took them information on a flyer with his picture, address, social, DOB, and all relevant information including work history and what did they do? Two weeks later I received a letter in the mail that stated we do not have sufficient amounts of information on the absent parent. Please provide us with this or if your child is receiving Medicaid or food stamps it will be terminated for non-compliance. I am so sick of this. Like you my child will be 9 soon and where will the arrears of 1 year come from when there are a total of 8 that my baby has been born, eating, sleeping, needing clothing, daycare, etc. Its ridiculous.

I have a 13 year old girl and a 17 year old boy.I have never got anything .I have also turned in everything they asked me for and i got back only them same letters wanting to know more about him .Well they have his place of stay, his job ,and his number, and they even have a full body picture of him and till this day i still get nothing.They even called me the other day and asked me if i wanted to stop my sons case because he is about to turn 18. I fill if they dont pay they need to give up there rights of being the father. The only way that they will go after them is if you get on welfare.And god knows they dont want that.Well if they dont want you to live off the state then they need to do more for these kids.
