Nine years

My son was born when I was 18years old. I went to the local child support office in Vicksburg, MS for assistance. They charged me a fee of twenty-five dollars, since I wasn't getting food stamps. My son is now nine years old, and I haven't had a hearing. Every once in a while they will send me a paper asking me to put his most current information; I do, and send it back. I recently found out that his other son that they just found out about is receiving nine hundred dollars a month. Why has the system failed my child? I went and talked to a child support officer and she showed me all his job history and addresses. So I just can't understand why the system has failed my son. And then she told me if I ever do get a court order, that they will only go back one year. What about the almost ten years he has missed of paying support? It has been hard taking care of a child on my own. I had to work, go to school, and take care of him. My son needs support and I need to be reimburse for time spent that should have been his.
