Hello - I feel your pain and my heart aches for you. I agree the system is not meant for fathers. I live in GA and my husband pays child support but the mother won't allow him to see his children because he is married to me. He actually called her and cried on the phone asking to see his son. But she didn't have a heart and his son misses him so badly. He is seven and he does little things like have the school call my husband basically sneaking behind his mothers back trying to see his father. I know that when he becomes of age, he is going to rebell against his mother because she won't allow him to have a father when he both needs and wants one. The screwy thing about it is that they were engaged twice and even while he and I were dating he asked her could they get back together. So it wasn't like he wasn't trying to be with her. She just wants everything on her terms. All the lawyers we have wasted our money on tells us that they can't do about acquiring visitation and he has to pay another fee for legal custody because he can't get physical custody. This ish is a trip. I am trying to start a movement. I am trying to get a group of people together to write letters to all the powers that be in their state, in their community, and to any author, talk show host or anything that has ever done a special on child support, custody, divorce etc. If you are tired of being sick and tired and want to take action, email me at eshantell@hotmail.com
