Oneof manysinglemothers

My child support journey has been a very difficult one. Once my daughter's father was ordered to pay support he up and moved out of the state. He was only ordered to pay us $127.00 a month and that was nearly 10 years ago. Since the court order he has managed to accumulate 3 more kids (that we know of), on top of the 2 he already had by me and another young lady. I may have received a total of $500.00 dollars throughout this entire process with the last check totaling out to be $3.33. About a year ago I decided to contact my local child support office concerning my case and was told they are waiting to hear something back from the office in his state. Well as of a month ago I contacted them again and was told the same thing. My question is "WHO DO I NEED TO CONTACT TO HAVE THE CHILD SUPPORT LAWS CHANGED?" These laws are in desperate need of change. Who is it that these laws benefit? It is definitely not the children. Honestly I would like for these men to really be forced to man up and take care of their RESPONSIBILITIES. I am sure that who ever is making the laws is not a individual like myself. The worse part of this whole mess is now that he has built up so much of interest from not paying he has filed for disability. In other words the state he lives in will now take care of him while he gets off without having to take care of his own responsibilities.
