Possible Increase In Funds

After separating from my husband, I filed for a divorce and was able to collect child support benefits at the time of the divorce. It's been 5 years and there hasn't been an increase. It was my understanding that benefits were considered according to income. I'm sure he's received a raise but hasn't volunteered that information. Will I have to obtain an attorney, who I can't afford, to go back to court or can I petition for a review on my own.
