My name is Chassitty Cota and for five maybe six years I have been trying to get the system to work for my kids in my Child Support case! I have been let down more then three times with my county sadly and I fear this won't be the last! The noncustodial parent has found ways to work the system in his favor OR specifically, outran the system and continues daily. My county commissioner has set free, again one of many times, the noncustodial parent who has ran from his court hearings and is only obligated to attend the hearings IF hes incarcerated. Each time the noncustodial parent agrees to maintain employment, a home and payment for support, but has failed to do all the above each time hes in court. The commissioner has stated to me "If I keep him incarcerated...your kids don't get their money!!!" Either WAY my kids aren't getting their money because he knows if he sweet talks this commissioner, its a slap on the wrist and hes out the door awaiting another warrant, trip to jail and a court hearing that will win in his favor WHEN they catch him again in a year or two after!! I don't understand how the system can let fathers and mothers get away with these acts time and time again!! When will the Child Support System work in favor of the Child/rens???!!! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!
