I WAS DIVORCED IN 2000, MY EX AND I WERE MARRIED FOR MAYBE 6 MONTHS THEN I WAS INCARCERATED, WHILE I WAS INCARCERATED WE WERE STILL MARRIED. DURING OUR MARRIAGE & MY INCARCERATION SHE WAS MESSING AROUND. I CAME TO FIND OUT THAT SHE WAS PREGNANT & CLAIMED THAT THE BABY WAS MINE. SHE WAS BORN IN THE END OF 2001. SINCE THEN WE HAVE BEEN DIVORCED & I'VE MOVED FROM ARIZONA. COME TO FIND OUT MY NOW EX CLAIMED THAT I ABUSED HER PHYSICALLY WHILE SHE WAS PREGNANT, HAS A RESTRAINING ORDER ON ME, I WAS INCARCERATED THE WHOLE TIME OF THIS PREGNANCY. JUST YESTERDAY, WHEN I WENT BACK TO WORK, AFTER CARING FOR MY NEW WIFE, I WAS PAID & THERE WAS CHILD SUPPORT THAT WAS TAKEN FROM ME & I DON'T EVEN KNOW THAT THIS CHILD IS MINE. HELP ME OUT, ANYONE. I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO DO SINCE I'M IN ANOTHER STATE & THEY'RE IN ARIZONA.

I agree with the other two posts; get an attorney and have a DNA test done. The longer you wait, the more it will costs you in the long run. Hate to see you go back to jail for child support issues.

If you are in Texas then you only have one year to contest the child support and get a DNA Test. If you do not in that time you are stuck paying no matter what!!

Did you sign the birth cert., if not get a lawyer and fight this, if you did then you have 4 yrs after the cs comes out of the check to prove the child is not yours. So get a Lawyer
