States get interest from support payments

I am a firm believer that child
support was derived out of someone’s pride taking a 'hit' as
it were. And so, it has been made into law that when someone
insults their mate by divorcing them, they must PAY!!!!
.....that is what I think (yes, yes, I am bitter, and I
realize that in some cases violence ended the
marriage/relationship. For that I truly grieve for you)
As it stands I owe a GREAT sum of money for insulting my 2
x-wives. Yes, you may say that I am a fool for going at it
twice in life, but for your information, I had STILL
believed that man and woman could live together as one and
of one goal: To raise children in such a way as to change
this sorry, miserable, tired world for the better.
Unfortunately, we each have our own way of doing things and
that brings about the end (united we stand, divided we
fall). Now that I have vented, let me get to my point...
When child support is paid, the state takes it and holds it
for a while. They open a high interest bank account and
deposit these payments into it. (see where this is going ?)
After the state has leeched off of MY HARD EARNED MONEY to
their satisfaction, they then disperse it. Now... when an
obligor gets behind, they are brought in for questioning
(just as in socialism) and usually made to serve time.
At that point EVERYONES tax money goes to house, feed, and
clothe this person. All because the state hauled you in to
demand why you thought they no longer deserved to earn
interest off of money that was NOT theirs in the first
place. So it comes down to this... You are never arrested
because the custodial parent has not received their
payments, you are arrested because the state has used the
custodial parents complaint to exact their own revenge
against you for not allowing them the pleasure of leeching
off of your payments.

Because of this bank account, the
child support 'black hole' came into existence. The state is
flagging as it is in constant flux due to this commission
suddenly dissolving, or that commission taking precedence
over another. Paperwork gets shuffled and lost, (and from
what I've read here at this site) and some poor slob gets a
letter informing him/her (more times HIM than HER) that no
payments have been received when YOU know you have been
paying all along!!!

I say abolish the child support
system. In more cases than not the custodial parent earns
more than the non-custodial parent. In many cases the
custodial parent re-marries, sometimes to a person more
affluent even than themselves, thereby adding an over-
abundance of money to the welfare of the child ( and if
anyone out there fits this last scenario and STILL says
their child is still ailing because of money then THAT is a
load of CRAP).

The system is geared to give advantage to
the one, while not having one concern for the other. The
custodial parent (unknown to the courts) can make the non-
custodial parent jump through hoops JUST TO SEE THEIR OWN
CHILD in a lot of cases. SCORES of cases have passed through
where the CUSTODIAL parent has flagrantly ABUSED the system
! And NO one seems to notice THAT illegal activity.
During recent times, a lot of states have come out with a
debit card that the payments go directly on to. A female
acquaintance of mine took that card to a local convenience
store and purchased CIGARETTES and BEER with it. I can tell
you from first-hand observance that the state did NOTHING to
correct that situation. Again I say, abolish the system. It
is unfair, and gainful only for those that would benefit
monetarily from it!
