Suspension of Driver's license = Sentence to poverty

How can a person survive in today's world without the right (not privilege, but right)to drive a car is beyond my understanding.
In many areas of the country, public transportation is unavailable. Thus, a person will not be able to go to work, buy groceries, or even access medical care in emergency situations.
In addition, people that have transportation-related jobs, or jobs that require the use of a vehicle are effectively shut out of their income.
Who is paying for the roads? We the people, through gasoline taxes, vehicle licensing fees, etc. On top of that, we fatten corrupt police (speeding tickets) and insurance companies (state-mandated liability insurance).
Finally, as courts have found that child support is not connected to visitation rights, the connection between child support payments and ability to drive is artificial and illogical. Even intoxicated drivers get a second chance, but none for indebted parents lacking ability to pay.
The only logical answer is that the state positively acts to criminalize a category of individuals, in great majority, men, by putting them in untenable circumstances.
For this reason, I propose a boycott of all voluntary child support payments, as well as a tax boycott on an unfair system. Please write your legislators.
