To the author of...TO YOU MOTHER'S FROM A MOTHER

I am sorry that you are disabled and struggling to raise your child.
However, it seems to me that you are very prideful and are dragging you child through a situation they shouldn't have to be in.
I am a single mother of two. I take care of my boys and work very hard to get the things that my boys need. I have spoken to adults who come from a divorced home where their mother never pursued child support and they wish their mother would have taken their father to court for their sake. Whether it was to provide better shoes or an extra curricular activity. That's something any mother should be proactive in trying to get for their child.
To me, not doing anything about it and letting deadbeats get away with not providing for their child is going to
1. Raise our taxes even more!
2. Let the father's go off and be more irresponsible and father more babies that will most likely fall back into the system of child support enforcement, just like our children.
We need to be smart and take action and not let them get away with being heartless. Kids don't live off air and they deserve the best that any parent can offer them.
To me, not pursuing child support IS laziness!
