THE ATTORNEY GENERAL’S OFFICE IS WORTHLESS TO GET CHILD SUPPORT: MY DEAD BEAT EX IS NOW OVER $35000 BEHIND IN CHILD SUPPORT. OVER THE YEARS HE ONLY ONLY MAKES PAYMENTS WHEN HE HAS A COURT DATE FOR NOT PAYING. THE FIRST TIME HE SHOWED UP FOR COURT AND WAS GIVEN A CHOICE: DO YOU WANT TO GO TO JAIL OR GO GET A LAWYER??? DAH HE CHOSE A LAWYER AND 4 YEARS LATER AFTER NOT SHOWING UP FOR COURT FINALLY GOT STOPPED AS A PASSENGER AND WHEN THEY RAN A CHECK HE SHOWED UP FOR "FAILURE TO APPEAR", OH YEAH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE WILL TELL YOU STUFF LIKE: WE HAVE HIS LICENSE
SUSPENDED>>>THEY DON'T SUSPEND...ON RECORD HE HAS A FAILURE TO APPEAR AND CANNOT RENEW HIS LICENSE ONCE IT EXPIRES...WHICH WAS YEARS LATER...THEN THE JOKE: WE HAVE A WARRANT OUT FOR HIS ARREST: WELL THEY NEVER GO TRY TO SERVE THE WARRANTS; I GAVE THEM HIS ADDRESS AND EVEN PICTURE WITH HIM WHERE HE LIVED. I FOLLOWED UP ALMOST WEEKLY TIL IT JUST BECAME SUCH A INCONVENIENCE TO ONLY RECEIVE LIP SERVICE AND NO ACTION AND THERE COMMON REPLY WAS "OH HE STILL HAS A WARRANT". WAS THE ONLY RESPONSE. AND NOW THAT THEY FINALLY CAUGHT UP TO HIM YEARS LATER...LOL...OR SHOULD I SAY HE FINALLY FOUND THEM...WE WENT TO COURT WHERE AGAIN...YOU GUESSED IT, WELL YOUR GOING TO JAIL OR (GET THIS), YOU WILL TAKE A COURT APPOINTED ATTORNEY! THAT’S RIGHT! THEY FORCED HIM TO CHOOSE JAIL OR FORCED HIM TO TAKE AN ATTORNEY THEY WILL PROVIDE FOR HIM FREE OF CHARGE. BUT I WILL NOT HAVE ANY REPRESENTATION AND IF I DO I MUST PAY A LAWYER TO REPRESENT ME...WHAT A BIG JOKE THIS SYSTEM IS. SO TO PREPARE FOR THE HEARING I WENT TO THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE TO REQUEST A COPY OF "MY" FILE AND THEY REFUSED TO GIVE IT TO ME BUT WOULD GIVE ME A FORM TO SEND OFF TO REQUEST PERMISSION TO GET A COPY OF THE FILE AND SAID I SHOULD GET A REPLY AS TO WHETHER I COULD HAVE A COPY WITHIN A FEW WEEKS..."THE TIME FRAME" IF THEY OK'ED THE COPY WOULD FALL AFTER THE TRIAL...I TRIED TO RESCHEDULE THE TRIAL AND THEY SAID "ONLY HE OR HIS LAWYER COULD CHANGE THE DATE" THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO COOPERATION FROM THE ATTORNEY GENERAL WHICH ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SUPPOSE TO REPRESENT MY CHILDREN. HE ALSO QUIT WORKING SHORTLY AFTER THEY STARTED TAKING CHILD SUPPORT OUT OF HIS PAYCHECK...TO AVOID PAYING, AND HE ONLY WORKS UNDER THE TABLE SO NO ONE CAN FORCE HIM TO PAY AND LIES ABOUT HAVING A JOB. BUT HE SUSTAINS HIS LIFE NO STATE WELFARE OR ANYTHING..SO WHERE DOES THIS UNEMPLOYED MAN GET HIS SURVIVAL MONEY. SO MY VIEW IS THAT THE TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE IS NOT WORTH THE TAX DOLLARS WE PAY TO KEEP IT WORKING AND SHOULD SHUT DOWN AND SPEND OUT MONEY ELSE WERE "MAYBE BOUNTY HUNTERS AND SUCH-WITH MANDATORY JAIL TIME" I WILL USE MY TAX DOLLARS TO KEEP HIM LOCKED UP INSTEAD OF THROWING IT IN THE TRASH WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE.

Tonya, I hope they hang him. Texas DOES NOT care about their children. It is the fathers RESPONSIBILITY to care for their children. Mothers work themselves to death to take care of their RESPONSIBILITIES, with no help from lazy men, who do not care for their children. Do you people on here not care about the children. When a child turns 18, it then becomes reinbursment to the mothers for all the years she PAID for the care of her children. The children are the ones hurt by a parent who doesn't care.....

CHILDSUPPORT IS TO SUPPORT THE CHILD!!!! IF THIS PERSON ISN'T PAYING FOR YEARS GET OVER YOUR SELF AND JUST DO THE BEST YOU CAN TO MAKE SURE YOUR CHILDREN ARE WELL CARED FOR.I'M SICK AND TIRED OF CUSTODIAL PARENTS WHINNING ABOUT THEIR DEAD BEATS! WHY DO YOU THINK YOU NEED AND ATTORNEY WHEN THE AG REPRESENTS YOU AND THE CHILD!I'M TIRED OF CUSTODIAL PARENTS CLAIMING THE NEED AN ATTORNEY!EVERYONE WILL BE JUDGED IN THE END! I think the child support offices should close down for good. Of course not all situations are the same. How do we know he isn't the good guy, i deal with this everyday with my husbands sleezy x 4 month...you know what. And its gonna piss her off when she finds out no income tax for her money hungry a**. Because he did the right thing by marrying a smart one. That's all i have to say. I believe everything happens for a reason and to be honest the good woman always receives there payments. I have seen this pattern often. Until you change your thinking about him and the money and realize it is the children s.. not yours then you will never get a penny. Altnough 1200 a month is ridiculous.. Thats another thing that has to change.. the amounts.

Its about time that women step up and take responsibility for spreading eagle for worthless bums and popping out kids thinking they will get a free ride.
As for you Tonya, if you spent a fraction of the time working to support your kid as you do stalking this man trying to suck money from him then you would probably not need him or his money.
He will get his in the end anyway.
The kid will know who was there for them and that is all the reward you need.You will never collect any money from him if you have'nt by now so give it up GET A JOB and take care of you and yours!

First off, the guy was probably a deadbeat when you met him and made babies. So, where is your responsibility? It pisses me off eveytime a woman goes on a rampage about deadbeats when they were the ones who said "yes" about getting pregnant. Or, do I have it all wrong? This was a great guy who paid his bills on time, had an eductaion and a career, didn't have any bad habits such as drugs, alcohol, or sleeping around. And you think it's important to ahve him thrown in jail. A lot of good that does his kids (if they are his) and the rest of the taxpayers. Speaking of which, anyone who pays taxes and gets it all back at the end of the year (and then some) aren't really taxpayers at all.

The only thing I agree with you on is that the Texas Attorney General-Child Support Division should cease to exists. They go out of their way to bring down people who can afford to pay and hold a steady job. Obviously, the man you slept with doesn't fall in that category.

Need extra money? Contact my ex wife in Beeville, Texas. She gets $1202.00 a month from me for one child! All you have to do is pay her a compliment and she will sleep with you too. At least you won't get stuck paying child support like me for someone else's bad behavior.

It's a awe inspiring double standard

You rail on your ex, but we know nothing about him

So before I go further, I will tell a little bit of my story.

My ex-wife ran off to another state not once, but twice with our children. Court shopped around that other state to get a protection order on me when no abuse ever happened.

She has hidden the kids from me, totally bad mouthed me to them, keeps their medical records from me (such as she is taking my eldest to a therapist to eventually get her on drugs)

Her current husband has shown pictures of human defecation to my children, but I guess thats okay because he's able to "write a check for $4000 and not think twice about it" - and she can't wait for her current husband's grandmother to die becuase "she's loaded."

She complains about child support, but yet is able to jump on a plane at a drop of a hat (not for business, but personal).

She has lied to school officials about me, has tried to drive a wedge between the children and myself, and this proven with her writing: "[Name] is a vibrant, never-shutting-up four year old who has never met a stranger, who despite all my work still loves her dad" on a public blog.

Also she has said awful things about my current wife: "Well, he got remarried in [month] to some woman who looks JUST LIKE ME + 50 POUNDS. She is a [occupation] and seems nice enough, but she must be a dumb ass to marry him after she sat through our divorce proceedings and saw what he is capable of. Everyone repeat after me: SHE IS A DUMB BITCH." (This was a few years ago, but she still has these feelings.)

I was put into arrears from the very get go (Over $6000) from the court. I paid every month, and now I work independently from the house.. I have an EIN, and Tax payer number. Yes, I have gotten behind, but I am not a dead beat, and to be quite honest.. I don't think the money is going to my kids in the first place.

My whole point to this is that my ex in complaining - publically - about "lack of child support" - but yet she wants to deny me certain things when it comes to the kids. I understand visitation/custody and supprt are seperate issues, but she only presents one side of the story.

I am not a perfect parent, but I have never claimed to be either, unlike what most ex-wives do... or at least try to play the victim card.
