Apparently you cant read. I support my children without your precious tax money. Your tax money is supporting my x who refuses to work, and refuses to support his boys. I bring home as much as you do, but the difference is that I don't belittle people that don't bring in as much as me. The complaint I have is that if a man wants to push his rights to his children he should have to help support them to. I don't resent the money I spend on my children but I do resent dead beat dads who think they can have thier children, but not support or at least help support thier children. I resent paying my taxes to the attorney general child support office who do not do thier jobs, who tell different stories about why they aren't enforcing someones probation. I resent supporting my x who is getting food stamps and extra food stamps when he has visitation with my boys because he chooses to be a bum. Hasn't had a job for 10 years. I get 154.00 ( or am suppose to) for two boys, that is very little but I wouldn't complain if I got that. I resent men who think they shoud have the good times with thier children but not have to help pay their bills. So they can spend their money on new cars like the Lexus he just bought. How he gets his money Im afraid to ask because whatever it is it must be illegal or under the table in order for him to get Lexus's and his drugs (hes been busted numerous times. My boys are great and like I said don't regret one penny I have spent on my children. But I resent someone who just buys them presents, but not pay one medical bill in 15 years,

You're crazy by: Anonymous
You two, are crazy. I support my son with no financial help. I don't resent one dime I have ever spent on him. It sounds like money is tight, but who's fault is that. You could have made good careers choices when you were young, like I did. I take home around $1,500/week. Good careers choices, I would say.
What I do resent is having to pay to support bitter people like you two. The child support system is a money suck that is insane. I resent supporting it and you through my taxes.
As for jail, no thank you. I don't want to pay for a bigger prison system. And, I feel that someone who does not pay child support is NOT a bigger criminal than a murderer, rapist, drug dealer, just to name a few. I want to save jail space for these people, not your ex over $16,000.
If your ex is not supporting your child, well, what can I say. Once again, you made a bad partner choice. Start accepting the facts, you have made bad choices and society should NOT be expected to pay for them. Quit leaving in the dream world that we should, it would be cheaper for us.

You, two, are crazy. I support my son completely by myself, and, I do have one ounce of resentment. He is happy, healthy and loveable. I would gladly forget anything his father should pay, just for one day with this wonderful boy. Who cares, forget about it. I made excellent choices when I was young so now I make in excess of $100,000/year. If you are concerned about milk and shoes, it sounds like you made poor careers choices. That's you fault and you parents. My father demanded that I work hard and study hard so I could always take care of myself. Thank God for him and the fact that I listened.

TO BAD TO SAD TO by: Anonymous
My X owes over 16,000 dollars in back child support. He is a constant part of their life, even demands his rights during my time. I would love for him not to be involved. He was put on probation after going to jail for non payment but now for the last 4 monts he has only paid 125.00 a month which now days wont even buy them a pair of shoes. The Attorney Generals office child support division states that Im lucky to get anything. He was told in court that if he failed to pay the 100.00 a month on back child support and 154.00 a month child support that he would go back to jail but apparently these are idle threats. I called Gov.Perrys office and talked to a Michael who told me that I needed to hire a lawyer not depend on the child support office. My question is why do we have a office that is getting paid by the tax payers to do something that they dont do. Why should I have to pay a lawyer to get my child support. A lawyers fees would be almost more then I would get from this fool in a year. What is he teaching his children about responsibility. Some men shouldnt be fathers. And our child support office in the state of TEXAS certainly doesnt deserve the money they get paid to do thier job. Its just another Government office that gets paid for doing as little as possible. Oh I asked them what a person that was put on probation for non payment of child support is suppose to do and even the managers in the midlan texas office couldn't answer that question.
