they deserve it!
by: Julianne

Kids deserve every dime they can get, raising kids is so crazy $250,000 per child. Their half is $6944 a year so each child should be getting $578/month for their half of raising a child to age 18. Custodial parents know exactly how you get nickled and dimed every day, especially as they get older. I just shelled out $600 for driver's ed this week. So on the national average, 1/2 of the support didn't even cover drivers ed this month. Had I seen any money in the last 6 months!

If you can get more ordered go for it, even if you don't get until you have grandchildren, you have earned it by raising the child in a loving manner, trying to give them the best you can with what you have.

Why Fight?
by: Disabled Mom

Keep up the fight because it's worth it. I have incoming proof that it's worth it. The proof gets bigger when Social Security Benefits are filed for! It's not only a financial fight, it's an ethics and moral responsibility fight. It would be wonderful if we didn't have to but that is the nature of the irresponsible, divorced male (or female) animal. Your child's self-esteem is worth it. Sigh.....

Fight
by: melissa

Why not fight? But you know what if you don't fight who will. I have a saying "Fight the battles you know you will win". Don't fight battles you know you can't win it is a waste of time. Keep your chin up!
