When Do You Enforce Child Support Laws???

by Angie
(Valier, Il.)

I Angie Rene Overton, mother of Madison Joy- Elise Montgomery have not received child support in over five years now. I have called child support, I filled out papers online and mailed them in, and I have sent all documentation (divorce decree, and order for child support) and have not gotten a responce yet. This has been going on for over five years now. I know that Jonathan(the father) has had his drivers license taken away, but that was over three years ago. Taking his drivers licence has had no effect on him at all. He still drives! Your web site states that you will be put in prison if you don't pay, but when? I really don't want to see him go to prison. I just want him to take of his responsiblities. My husband pays 400 dollars a month in child support, and it comes directly out of his check every two weeks. He also keeps insurance on not only his child, but Madison Montgomery too. Your site says your cracking down in Texas, but I haven't seen anything like that.

Sincerly
Angie Overton

They Lie!
by: Anonymous

I have two daughters and I have been trying to collect my child support for over 15 years and all I am told is that my case is being followed up on. Well, if so why haven't I heard from anybody on it? 15 years is too long to have to wait. My children are now grown and they father now says, "Well, you've already raised them, what do you need the money now for"? I had to work two jobs and I have given up alot to raise these girls and he gives up nothing. But I only hope that when he meets our maker, he is shown no mercy!

Adminstrative laws
by: Anonymous

I email the Texas OAG weekly on their website and complain about the handling of my out-of-state-case. I have demanded that every administrative action be utilized by the Texas CSE under Title IV-D law. Whoever the case worker that is assigned to your case should use these laws for full enforcement.

Texa says alot, But slow to act.
by: michael

Sorry Dear But Texas say a lot but is slow to act on what it says, Texas just wants to seem like it cares for child, they want your money sure but they want to hand it an get interest on it while they hold it, oh they keep a percentage for doing whatever they do, an send your child the difference I'm sorry to hear your having so much trouble collecting, but you can push back if you'd go in person to child support, an take the media with you, good luck,
