Why is frieds of the court for, just too cause more harm then good.

In 1997 a babygirl was born. to a x of mine. at the time i believed it was mine. yet never had a Dna test. Now 13 years have gone by. ex has been married for 12 years to the same man. yet still rides me for childsupport which has accumulated over 15.000 in rearages. taking half my income after tax's takes 25percent. leaving me with 25%of my yearly income to survive on. I have not seen this child more then ten times her whole life. x refuses dna test. and does not let me talk to child. court has denied me any rights. now I have to reason to believe the child is mine. yet Michigan laws stick you to pay nomatter what. I dont know what too do. I can't afford an attorney. The courts wont appoint me one because of income which is not mine. I believe the court system does not help anyone. All it does is force people to pay for something. usually more then that person can afford. and there is nothing you can do about it unless you can afford a high dollar attorney. And who can afford that on 25% of there income. I have tried several times to lower payments, get Dna test, Or even talk to child. dont even have any fisical evidence this child is mine other than a court order. What good is law if you dont feel protected by it. law cares for no one but law.
